My
Story
My name is Taylor Blazina and I am a Student Midwife, Doula and Birth Educator in Ellensburg Washington.

In 2018, shortly after getting married, my husband and I decided to start our family. When I found out that I was pregnant, I was working as an EMT and was actively trying to find my niche in the realm of modern day healthcare.
Through out my pregnancy journey. I (like any other first mom may be tempted to do) read as much about pregnancy as I possible could. I was determined to have the healthiest pregnancy possible.

Through my own personal pregnancy journey, I discovered the power of living holistically. I learned about the field of midwifery and how midwifery is supportive of holistic care and it won my heart. I knew that not only was midwifery the right decision for the type of maternity care I was looking for, it was also the right niche of healthcare for me to be in.

Ever since the beautiful water birth of my first child, I have been dedicated to the movement of midwifery taking place in our society. My goal is to learn as much as I can about how to have healthy, happy babies and to share that knowledge with as many individuals who want to listen.

I strongly believe in taking a proactive approach in the health of our up-and-coming generations and what better way at doing so than helping people learn how to have healthy babies!
As of the beginning of 2020, I became a birth assistant for a local midwife in the PNW and as of January 2021, I became a student midwife. As of the summer of 2021, I became doula and birth educator certified.
To make a request for doula services, please check out my services page.
For birth education, my blog and resources pages are packed full of childbearing information intended for all individuals.
